This year, my personal theme for the year is "COURAGE."

I want to have the courage to move out and be away from my asshole landlord. I want to have the courage to write more. I want to graduate from school, after dropping out a decade ago.

I have high hopes for this year, even if I feel like the beginning has been tiresome so far.

I love the idea of linking the upcoming year to a theme/word, that sounds like a great way to be deliberate about things. Not sure if you find community/low-pressure accountability helpful (I never met my pledge!) but I found

getyourwordsout to be a wonderful challenge to make writing more of a regular habit within a supportive community. (Sign-ups for the year close in 4 days!) Either way, I wish you all the best with your goals, they're very good :)

Yay! :D What did you pledge??

When you get full access to the Dreamwidth comm, you'll be able to find the post with the Discord information :) Dreamwidth is the main location for the challenge (so many cool articles and discussions!!) although the Discord is quite active as well, especially at the beginning of the year. Many of the mods are on the US East Coast so it might be a few hours before they're around to process your pledge :D I hope you have fun with the challenge!!

I pledged 150k! I figure, either thats 150 1k fanfics, oor its only 15 10k fanfics, which is more manageable.. Maybe sometime soon I'll be able to write larger fanfics with this challenge.
